Kindergarten Reading Goals

Do you find it hard to keep track of all your Kindergarten students’ reading goals? Or perhaps you’re unsure what your students’ next goal should be? This (free!) Reading Goals Tracker is just what you need!

How to use this Reading Goals Tracker

• Print a Reading Goals Tracker sheet for each of your students
• After you read with your Kindergarten students, decide what their most pressing goal is. (There’s 30 reading goals on the grid plus an extra page to add your own)
• Highlight around that goal on the goals tracker
• Each time you see your student achieving the goal, place a tick in the box. You might like to see them achieving the goal 2- 5 times. You decide!
• When you are happy that they have achieved their goal, highlight the whole box and write the date
• Then start the process again!
