Brain Breaks for Prep/Kindergarten | Movement Breaks

Do you ever look at your Prep/Kindergarten class and think, “These kids need a movement break!” Brain breaks are so important for young learners. They help reset their concentration and focus. These picture cards are just what you need to give them a movement break, whilst also promote learning.

Simply display these cards around your room (keeping them at eye-level, where possible), and have students go find pictures that meet a certain criteria. You could prompt them with, “Go point to pictures in the room that start with B” or “Go find pictures that have two syllables”. The options are endless.
